The Honesty Shop at Heritage Wood

Coffee, treats and refreshments in the heart of the woods

If you're visiting Heritage Wood, why not call in at our Honesty Shop, situated in the car park and run by our good friends Richie and Lisa from Delicious Coffee Co.

Housed in their beautifully converted horsebox, the shop is stocked with a selection of hot drinks, cold drinks, sweet treats and snacks – perfect for a little pick-me-up before or after a walk around the woods.

And if Richie and Lisa look familiar, there's a good chance you've seen them before! Visitors to our annual Illuminated Walk will know Delicious Coffee Co. from their unmistakable converted fire engine, where they serve coffees, hot chocolates and treats throughout the event.

How does the Honesty Shop work?

As the name suggests, the shop operates on an honesty basis. Simply pop in, choose what you'd like and follow the instructions inside to pay. It's an easy way to grab a drink or treat while enjoying your visit to Heritage Wood.

You may even find a few extra goodies alongside the drinks and snacks depending on what's available that week.

Opening times

The Honesty Shop is normally open Wednesday to Sunday, from 10am until around 5pm.

Closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

As it's a small independent operation, opening times may occasionally vary.

A little business with a lot of character

We're delighted to have Delicious Coffee Co. as Friends of Heritage Wood. Richie and Lisa have been part of our events and also help out around the wood for some time, and their quirky vehicles and great coffee have become a familiar sight to many of our regular visitors.

So next time you're at Heritage Wood, have a wander over to the horsebox, take a look inside and treat yourself. Every cuppa and treat helps support a small local business too.
