Road Closure 3rd, 4th & 5th April 2023. Completed
The road will be closed due to work taking place on the main road just outside the Ednaston Business Centre. This means from the A52 through Ednaston you will not be able to drive to the main car park or the Heritage Wood office. The new car park will still be accessible.
The highways suggested route is through Shirley then Hollington (this route has tight lanes), however if you are coming from Derby we are suggesting another route turning off at Kirk Langley.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE:
In Kirk Langley at the crossroads TURN LEFT onto the B5020, Moor Lane.
Continue for approximately half a mile and TURN RIGHT onto LONG LANE.
Continue for approximately 4.3 miles, passing through Long Lane Village and over Brailsford Brook where you will TURN RIGHT for HOLLINGTON, HOARGATE LANE.
Go past the Red Lion Pub and down Hollington Hill, for approximately 2 miles and you will see Heritage Wood on your left and a further 100 metres along Ednaston Business Centre and Derbyshire Self Storage on your right.
Note: Heritage Wood users are still able to use the new car park and can walk to the office through the wood
